Mission Statement

Through respect, responsibility and academic pride, Terryville High School prepares students for the real-world. Our learners can read, write, analyze, synthesize, and critically evaluate information.  They work independently and collaboratively while learning to be flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the 21st Century.  The Terryville High School educational community teaches students to respect themselves and others, take responsibility for personal well-being, and be an active participant in the school and/or community.



Terryville High School students will demonstrate the ability to:

A.      Create, use, modify and stay focused on questions.

B.      Use real-world digital and other research tools.

C.      Analyze, synthesize, and evaluate information.

D.       Work independently and collaboratively.

E.       Communicate information clearly and effectively.

F.       Exhibit personal responsibility, character, and ethical behavior.
